S&S Launch their Biggest Motor Yet – The T143

This Spring will see S&S launch their biggest motor yet, the T143 Рa 160 horse power monster ready to bolt into 2008-later Harley-Davidson touring models

For over 10 years the S&S T124 has been the big-cube upgrade but, with 151 ft-lbs of torque and double the HP of a stock motor, the T143 looks set to steal it’s crown.

Supplied without a fuel system, S&S will be offering an intake kit including a special proprietary 70mm Throttle Hog throttle body with special ports that align with the new S&S B3 cylinder heads, and an S&S Stealth air cleaner.

The T143 will be available in either wrinkle black or stone gray powder coat finishes. Key features include;

  • S&S B3 cylinder heads CNC machined with 2 bolt exhaust flanges
  • S&S Super Stock T2 Crankcases with reed breather valve
  • 3 Piece Flywheels
  • S&S high flow oil pump and cam cover
  • S&S 635 Easy Start gear drive cams and S&S 1:725 rocker arms for .674″ total lift.
  • S&S Premium High Performance Tappets
  • 6 months parts warranty

As an high performance engine, it goes without saying that longevity, engine noise, vibration and throttle sensitivity will have all been compromised to squeeze this level of performance in a stock chassis and as such it’s clearly not for everyone.

The rest of us will be saving for a heavy duty clutch!
